Pediatric and Adolescent Services Whittier’s Pediatric and Adolescent department provides high quality health care for youth, including regular check-ups, monitoring of growth and development, immunizations, testing for asthma, lead poisoning, hearing and vision testing, and sick visits. Whittier also offers numerous clinics and programs exclusively for pre-teens and adolescents, including our Asthma Clinic, Healthy Weight Clinic, and Adolescent Clinic for high-risk patients. Youth Services Whittier Street Health Center is invested in the future. That is why we offer numerous and varied clinics targeted to youth, pre-adolescents, and adolescents. Our clinics and programs cover a wide range of health and social problems that children may suffer from including violence, peer pressure, asthma, diabetes, overweight and healthy eating habits, and high risk behavior. Each clinic is directed by our Medical Providers and run by trained, competent, and caring medical interns and peer leaders.
