Whittier Street Health Center’s 2009 Roast was a huge hit as top Boston psychiatrist Dr. Gary Gottlieb, President of Brigham and Women’s/Faulkner Hospitals was roasted for SHRINKing Disparities in Health Care.

Thomas Glynn, COO of Partners HealthCare, Kate Walsh, COO of Brigham and Women’s/Faulkner Hospitals, Dr. Paula Johnson, Executive Director of the Connor’s Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Jack Connors, Jr. were the featured Roasters of Dr. Gottlieb. The ballroom at the Boston Park Plaza was packed with guests who gathered to honor and recognize Dr. Gottlieb and enjoy an evening of humor and fun. The benefit raised nearly $500,000 to directly support Whittier Street Health Center's essential health and social services.
